An unexpected benefit of blogging – Milsons Point / Lavender Bay Walk No. 2

Following my post Walking: Lavender Bay – appreciating the little things, a group from my work organised a lunchtime walk around the same track!

After having to cancel because of rain yesterday, we set out today to enjoy the sunshine and the brilliant sight of Sydney Harbour filling with naval ships for the International Fleet Review. There are at least a dozen ships visible now and more on their way. Unfortunately I didn’t have a camera with a zoom to get any good shots of the boats, but there are a few taken from a distance below. If only this shoulder was up to getting out for a kayak to get a closer look …

Part of our group stopped at Milsons Point while a few of us carried on and looped past Admiralty House and up through Kirribilli. A few pics below.

What a great way to get out of the office at lunchtime and a wonderfully unexpected result of this blog!
