Spring has well and truly sprung in Australia – in fact with the mercury almost hitting 40 degrees Celsius yesterday it won’t be spring for long…
Anyway, while it lasts it’s a stunning time of year to get out in the bush – sunny, but not too warm, and flowers everywhere. There are also so many cicadas out they are literally falling out of trees and making a deafening noise in the mountains.
Here are a selection of flowers on show in the Blue Mountains at the moment, some taken around Mount York and others around the towns of the Blue Mountains.
